We're Hiring!

Growth & Partnerships Manager

Part-Time (3 days/week)    |    Flexible / Remote-Friendly

THE OPPORTUNITY

After nearly a decade of volunteer-driven growth, TTDP has reached an exciting turning point. We are thrilled to be welcoming our very first part-time team member.

We have a bold five-year strategy, a growing national profile and the chance to capitalise on the strong foundations we have built at TTDP.  From new corporate partnerships to exciting national campaigns, TTDP’s future is genuinely exciting. We are looking for someone who can help us make this happen.

This is a rare chance to join a passionate, purpose-driven organisation at a pivotal moment in its growth and to make a real and lasting difference in the lives of young Australians affected by sarcoma.

THE ROLE

Reporting to co-founders Amy Parmenter and Molly Croft, the Growth & Partnerships Manager will be the engine behind TTDP's next chapter. You will work closely with our Co-founders, Board and volunteer team to strengthen operations, grow fundraising and deliver initiatives that expand our national reach and impact.

This is a part-time role (3 days per week) for 2 years, with the possibility of extension as the organisation scales.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Fundraising Support

  • Deliver the fundraising strategy to expand and diversify revenue streams.
  • Support partnerships and engagement through targeted communications, campaigns and events that foster long-term collaborations with organisations.
  • Assist in coordinating the annual 'TTDP Festival' fundraising weekend in November, including the 10-year anniversary in 2026.

Stakeholder & Relationship Management

  • Assist Co-founders and TTDP Board to maintain strong relationships with donors, partners, volunteers and community stakeholders.
  • Represent TTDP professionally in external meetings, events and collaborative initiatives, supported by our team.
  • Support internal communication and coordination across volunteers and team members.

Administration, Governance & Professional Standards

  • Support the development and delivery of corporate and community packages, working closely with co-founders to bring events to life.
  • Upgrade and oversee administrative systems, processes and reporting to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Provide administrative support to the Co-founders, Board and leadership team as needed.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who is energised by our purpose and motivated to make a real impact. While experience in the not-for-profit sector is an advantage, it is not essential. What matters most is that you bring the right skills, a proactive mindset and a genuine passion for our cause.

You are likely someone who:

  • Is a natural relationship-builder who has experience working across community, corporate and/or sporting audiences;
  • Is highly organised and capable of managing multiple and competing priorities;
  • Brings experience in fundraising, partnerships, events, marketing or stakeholder engagement;
  • Is comfortable working closely with involved Co-founders and a dedicated volunteer team;
  • Is proactive, self-motivated and works well with autonomy;
  • Cares deeply about making a difference and ideally, already has a connection to the sarcoma or cancer community (though this is not essential);
  • Preferably Sydney based, though applications from around Australia will be considered.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • The chance to work with a nationally recognised charity at a pivotal moment in its growth;
  • Work directly alongside Co-founders Amy and Molly, leveraging their platforms and networks;
  • A remote, part-time arrangement that can accommodate workplace flexibility;
  • The opportunity to make a genuine, tangible difference in the lives of young Australians living with sarcoma;
  • A passionate, warm and welcoming team culture rooted in community, hope and purpose;
  • The ability to upskill in relevant areas of interest through training and courses, supported by a team that would welcome this initiative;
  • Industry-standard remuneration: base salary $54,000 + superannuation (~$45.55/hour for 3 days per week)
  • As a registered charity, we can also offer generous salary packaging options.
